A golden oil valued for richness, softness, and a luxurious skin feel.
A silky, golden glide that leaves skin and hair with a soft, nourished finish.

Argan Oil carries the feeling of sun-warmed gold. In the Apothecary, it represents radiance, nourishment, and the beauty that comes from patient tending.
Argan Oil is pressed from the kernels of the argan tree, which grows almost nowhere else in the world but the dry hills of southwestern Morocco. The trees are hardy and slow-growing, able to survive heat and drought that few other trees can bear. For centuries, Amazigh (Berber) women have cracked the hard nuts by hand to reach the small kernels inside, and many women's cooperatives still make argan oil this way today.
Argan Oil is used in skincare and haircare for its silky feel and conditioning qualities. It is light enough to sink in without leaving skin greasy, yet rich enough to make dry skin feel soft and cared for. It helps give products a rich, nourishing texture and a soft after-feel on skin or hair.
In hair care, a few drops of argan oil help smooth the ends, tame flyaways, and give hair a healthy-looking shine. In body oils and balms, it adds a smooth, golden glide that makes the whole formula feel more luxurious. It is often called "liquid gold" because of both its color and how precious it is to produce: it takes many kilograms of fruit to make a single liter of oil.
Argan oil has a soft, slightly nutty scent that fades quickly, letting the other ingredients in a blend come forward. It is one of the most versatile oils in the Apothecary, at home in face oils, beard oils, body butters, and hair treatments alike.

On a sleepless night, a weaver takes the other fork in the forest path, and finds a friend, a gift of soap and oil, and a dream that changes everything.
